wheel bearings |
| plain bearingSimple, low-priced, to a large extent insensitive and wheel bearings maintenance-free under normal conditions. With rims or wheels from PP, polypropylene or casting under normal conditions no additional bush is used, because these materials possess good sliding qualities. In sheet metal rims or the like normaly we use bushes made from poyamide, for heatproof wheels as option also special coated bushes can be used.
| heatproof bushesFood-genuine floating bushings made from a special heatproof material-mixture. These bushes are self-lubricating, maintenance-free, insensitively to shock loadings, take up no humidity and have a high corrosion resistance.
They find use mostly within the food ranges, primarily in heatproof wheels. Here the bushes provide for easier and quieter running of the wheels, unpleasant Quiet are prevented. The bushes are heatproof to 280° C.
| | | roller bearingsDurable, resistant and to a large extent maintenance-free wheel bearings. Roller bearings usually consist of a plastic or a steel cage with steel rollers. With a roller bearing a substantially smaller rolling friction than thus with a sliding bearing and develops an easier run of the wheels. These bearings are the usually used bearings for normal transportation equipments with middle load. Roller bearings are available also in stainless execution. | ball bearingsSingle-row grooved ball bearings are the ideal bearings for all wheels which must exhibit a high load-carrying capacity and good running properties. These bearings consist of a ball cage with hardened balls which scroll between a hardened outside and inside ring. As dust shield for the balls a metal disk (Z-bearings) serves. As the better sealing one or two rubber sealing rings can be installed (RS-or 2RS-bearings). These bearings are mostly used in high-quality wheels or in heavy load wheels. Ball bearings are available also in stainless execution.
